The bar at Longeveau is fully air-conditioned, with magnificent views out across the tennis courts, golf course and open countryside. It offers visitors an eclectic mix of rustic French bar meets cool living, a special find in the rural Charante!
It is the perfect spot for a morning coffee at the start of a new day, or a post golf cool down with an ice cold beer and perhaps some big screen sport. Whether it’s a catch-up with your friends or a respite from your busy holiday cottage, our new bar has it all.
We offer an excellent selection of wines and drinks to suit all tastes and ages. In season, we offer a lunch service as well as lighter bar snacks available throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy their food and drink in the depths of our squashy leather sofas or sit out on the bar’s veranda and terraced areas with an enviable vantage point over the grounds.
We have two screens (one small, one big) for showing the big matches, events and any important news stories. We often run special nights throughout the year with the best local bands and musicians playing, wine tasting nights, quiz nights and more. In addition to our lunchtime service we also offer some evening meals. As a general rule, our restaurant is open for Saturday evenings throughout the summer, with one or two additional meals during the week. Monday evenings at are reserved for the ever popular Longeveau barbeque!
