Clubs

Bridge Club

We run a Bridge club one night a week (normally Tuesdays), for most weeks of the year. It is a fun, informal evening, often with a number of less experienced players. However, through the club it is possible to find more serious players and a second meeting during the week is occasionally arranged for those playing at a higher standard.

Novices up to experts are always welcome. Please get in touch with us for further details.

Exercise Class, Tuesday

An exercise class runs every Tuesday at 14h30, in the barn at Longeveau. It comprises an hour of fitness including, warm-up, step, dance, floor work (tums ‘n bums) and stretching.

It costs 5€ a session and all are welcome. Please call Patti Jervis on (+33) 05 53 90 27 48, or just turn up.

Ladies Keep Fit Class, Thursday

The ladies keep fit class meets once a week on a Thursday morning at 11h00, for one hour. It is run by a qualified Physical Education Teacher and allows for individual levels of achievement, so there is certainly no age limit.

The sessions are fun and vary weekly. Our aim is to improve cardio-vascular and circulo respiratory fitness (heart, blood vessels and lungs), by involving a number of exercises set out in a circuit so that you avoid exercising the same muscle group consecutively.

Ladies can therefore work at their own pace and level, setting their own personal targets and goals. The sessions start with a warm up, then the main exercises and finishes with a cool down. All of these elements have the desired outcome for good health, which is physical, social and mental well being.

It costs 5€ a session and all are welcome. Please call Corrine on (+33) 06 33 63 80 03, or just turn up.

Classic Car Club

We host a classic car meeting every second Sunday of the month, in the courtyard, as well as a number of one off events. Please see our section headed ‘classic cars’ for further details.
