With numerous courses in the region, Longeveau is an ideal base for golfing enthusiasts. The Manoir’s own golf course is set within the grounds of the estate and although relatively short, is a good test, requiring accurate iron play to score well. Our wide range of self catering accommodation range from one to four bedroom cottages and all are situated either on or very close to the course itself. Golfng societies or groups of golfing friends can easily be accommodated and are always very welcome at Longeveau.
The courses in the region tend to be uncrowded and with very competitive green fees compared to other European countries. This part of France is particularly scenic and this is reflected in most of the courses. The climate is temperate and in April, May, June, September and October the temperatures are usually in the range of 18c to 30c, ideal for a round of golf.

Medoc les Chateaux is regarded as one of the best courses in France and is a regular venue on the European Tour. A very tough test for the most experienced golfer. A little further afield but well worth the trip for those looking for a real challenge.

Arguably the best course in the region with 18 testing and beautiful holes cut through a pine forest. This course is both long and challenging and requires accurate driving from the tees. A water hazard coming into play on two of the holes make it very daunting. A little further afield but well worth the trip as it is an excellent course.
