From fresh pastries with your morning coffee to long lunches on the terrace, or BBQs and dining into the evening, our terrace bar is the ideal places to come together to relax and enjoy the estate. With wonderful views over the tennis courts, golf course and open countryside, plus local fresh produce and a changing menu, you’ll find yourself whiling away the hours in rural French style.
Our BBQ nights, welcome meals and pizza nights operate weekly between 5 July - 23 August 2024. The bar is open most days during these dates and our wonderful staff are always on hand to help you with any questions you have during your stay.
Entertainment & Wine-Tasting
Our bar terrace is usually a haven of peace and quiet, under the shared of a beautiful old Horse Chesnut Tree. But from time to time, we invite a local band to play, for an evening of fun and laughter.
Spend an evening wine-tasting (weekly in the summer holidays or by reservation at other times) with a local vignoble where you get the chance to test your palate and see which of the delicious local wines you prefer. Why not take some home with you for a delicious souvenir!
Light bites and snacks
During the day, our bar often offers a simple selection of light bites to tide you over. We cater for younger family members, with lunch-box style 'Kiddie Boxes' for the little ones and organic baby food for our tiniest guests.
A selection of breads and viennoiseries (breakfast pastries) are available to order for collection every morning.
Bon Appétit
Our chef prepares a delicious 3 course welcome meal every Friday and Saturday evening during the summer holidays. A choice of freshly prepared, local dishes are available with seating on our beautiful terrace as the sun-sets over the valley. Let the children play as you enjoy one of our local bottles of wine, long into the summer evenings and start your holiday in style!
We can provide full bespoke catering options for groups and events. For any stays either side of the main summer holidays, we can often provide in-property catering & shopping services, by reservation.
BBQ
Our weekly BBQs nights are a chance for everyone to really unwind and enjoy laughter and games together in the late evening sun. A selection of meats and salads, with vegetarian options available and wine included. We usually have BBQs on Monday evenings though the summer holidays, more often than not, followed by the ever popular game of 'kids vs grown ups' football, on the flood-lit tennis courts!
For weddings and celebrations, BBQ's are also a great way to welcome your guests or revitalise the party the next day.
Freshly made Pizza
Freshly baked pizza is available most Thursday evenings though the summer holidays. Enjoy on our terrace with friends and a drink, or take-out to enjoy in the comfort of your holiday home or garden!
Groups also enjoy this informal food option as a great ice-breaker on arrival night.
