Golf d’Aubeterre

Golf d’Aubeterre is set within the grounds of the Longeveau estate. Our nine hole course offers a challenge to golfers for all abilities, within the scenic setting of the Charente / Dordogne countryside.

Access to the course by reservation only. Please book here or in the Clubhouse.

Tournaments & events

We hold regular competitions throughout the year. Many are open to all guests, while some are for members only.

Every Wednesday,  morning or afternoon depending on the time of year, we run an 18 hole Stableford competition. During the summer months, we run a 9 hole Stableford on Friday evenings. Visitors are welcome to play in both competitions and all players are required to sign up in advance.

For members, we have the monthly medal, plus an assortment of sponsored competitions throughout the year. Annually, we host the 'Club Plate Competition' (with index / handicap). Followed shortly afterwards by the 'Club Championship' (scratch competition), played over the course of three days.

Our members also represent us in competitions across the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.

There are regular roll-ups on Mondays and Saturdays for men, and Tuesdays for ladies. These social events normally take the form of a texas scramble or stableford competition, depending on the number of players. All visitors are warmly welcomed.

Association

The 'Association de Golf d'Aubeterre' organises regular competitions and social events throughout the year. It is also responsible for administering your index (handicap) and FFG (Fédération française de golf) licences.

The Association organises all of the official club competitions, including the Wednesday and Friday Stablefords, the Monthly Medal, sponsored tournaments and the annual Plate and Club Championships. Association members are regularly updated by email with details of up and coming events and how to how to participate.

Sponsored events and one off competitions are often accompanied by social events.

Membership of the Association is required for all Club members wishing to play in the above competitions. In addition to this, an FFG licence is obligatory for all Club members. This ensures that, amongst other things, you are insured whilst playing the game.

If you would like to join the FFG and Association, the fees are currently €58 and €8 respectively, a total of €66. Existing members of the FFG are able to transfer to our Association.
